Privacy requests — data export and deletion

Overview

Ampli supports your privacy rights under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws. During public beta, export and deletion are handled manually by our support team — typically within 30 days.

Who can request

  • Your own account: Any user may request export or deletion of their personal data.
  • Organization data: Only an organization owner (or authorized admin acting on written owner approval) may request export or deletion of organization-wide data.

How to request

Email support@ampli.social from the email address associated with your Ampli account. Include:

  1. Request type: Export, deletion, or correction
  2. Scope: Personal account only, or entire organization (owners only)
  3. Organization name (if applicable)
  4. Confirmation that you are the account holder or authorized representative

We may ask you to verify identity before processing.

What we provide (export)

A typical personal export includes:

  • Account profile (name, email, role)
  • Share history and scheduled shares
  • LinkedIn connection metadata (not raw OAuth tokens)
  • Notification preferences

Organization exports (owner request) may additionally include posts, team membership list, and analytics summaries available in the product.

Exports are delivered as structured files (CSV/JSON) via secure link or encrypted email.

What we delete

Personal account deletion:

  • Removes your Ampli account and org memberships
  • Revokes LinkedIn tokens stored by Ampli
  • Anonymizes or deletes personal share records where feasible

Organization deletion (owner request):

  • Deletes organization content, memberships, and settings
  • Cancels active Stripe subscription (if any)
  • Does not automatically delete content already published on LinkedIn — you must remove LinkedIn posts separately

What we may retain

We may retain limited records where required by law (e.g., billing/tax records, fraud prevention logs) or in anonymized form for aggregate analytics.

Stripe and LinkedIn

  • Stripe: Payment history may remain in Stripe per their retention policies; we delete Ampli’s copy of subscription metadata on org deletion.
  • LinkedIn: Disconnect LinkedIn in Settings before account deletion, or we will revoke stored tokens on our side.

After you submit

  1. We acknowledge within 5 business days
  2. We complete the request within 30 days (beta SLA)
  3. You receive confirmation when processing is complete
